CAPE TOWN, South Africa, Aug. 23 -- The Chinese naval hospital ship Peace Ark, which is on the Mission Harmony-2024, arrived in South Africa on Thursday. During the seven-day goodwill visit, it will provide medical service there. This is the first time the ship Peace Ark has visited South Africa.

開普敦8月23日電 執行“和諧使命-2024”任務的中國海軍和平方舟醫院船22日抵達南非，開始進行為期7天的友好訪問并提供醫療服務。這是和平方舟醫院船首次訪問南非。

In addition to providing medical service, medical expert teams of the Peace Ark will carry out joint treatment in local hospitals, and conduct dedicated academic exchanges on traditional Chinese medicine in the Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of the Western Cape.

訪問期間，和平方舟醫院船將利用主平臺開展醫療服務，并派出專家分隊赴當地醫院開展聯合會診，赴西開普大學中醫孔子學院開展中醫專場學術交流。

Members of the hospital ship will also conduct cultural exchanges in local schools, and hold friendly basketball and tug-of-war games with South African military members.

訪問期間，和平方舟醫院船將利用主平臺開展醫療服務，并派出專家分隊赴當地醫院開展聯合會診，赴西開普大學中醫孔子學院開展中醫專場學術交流。醫院船官兵代表將前往當地學校開展文化聯誼活動，與南軍官兵舉行籃球、拔河友誼賽。
